I have a 1945 Lane hope Chest for sale. It is model #2101 with a serial number
of 541260 with is the date backwards. I had a friend who is an auctioner say it
was work about 400.00 even with it's imperfections. I am only asking 300.00
becuase that gives you a little off to fix it if you wish to do so. The inside
is excellent. The left side as you can see in picture had the surface wood flake
off and a small chip on the top right. There are also some surface scratches on
top. Shouldn't be hard to get out. Attached is the origial sales tag and
sold tag alone with a few factory tags. Please email or call if interested.

condition.
